 The Israel Veterinary Association founded in 1922 in a meeting of the Jewish practitioners in Israel.

The meeting was conducted by four of the seven practitioners in Israel Today, there are more than 1000 members in the association, all of whom are represented in 'specialty' sections.  A member belongs to any one of the eight sections according to his/her primary field of work.

   The main goals of the association is to promote the veterinary profession in Israel, Support advancement in veterinary science, to publish an academic veterinary journals and to lead quality continuing education seminars for our members.
